With all the mining projects currently under development in Quebec, Canada would become one of the world’s major producers. <\/strong><\/p>

China largely dominates the production of graphite in the world with nearly 700,000 tons<\/strong> per year, followed by Brazil with 96,000 tons<\/strong>. And Canada represents an annual production of 12,000 tons according to Natural Resources Canada in 2020<\/strong>. The other players on the international market are India, Mozambique, Madagascar, Russia, Ukraine and Norway, to name only the countries that produce more than 15,000 tons<\/strong> per year. As for recognized reserves, Turkey, China and Brazil are at the top of the list with, respectively, 90 million, 73 million and 72 million tons<\/strong> of this same ore. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
